As I'm local I thought I would try this place out. It was buzzing with kids having a great time! I was served by a friendly barista (with glasses, I forgot her name) who made me feel very welcome and made an excellent cappuccino.

The play cafe was excellent... We were lucky enough to go when it was quiet but our nearly 2 year old loved it! The coffee and cakes were great and we had very good service. Have recommended to lots of people!

I’ve been to Meeple village lots of times now and my daughter loves it so it was amazing to have her 3rd birthday there. It’s been 6 months since and she still talks about her party and the piniata! Meeple are so accommodating and helpful which was great as we had a 2 week old baby in tow at the time :)

Me and a friend spent the evening at meeple village for their sip 'n' paint pumpkin event. It was a breath of fresh air having a craft evening tailored for adults in our local area. The atmosphere was great. We had such a good time crafting, catching up, sipping processco and nibbling at the sharing platter supplied. The evening was so well thought out by Emily and the meeple village team. They supplied us with everything we needed. Hythe is in need of more evenings and Events like these and I look forward to meeple villages upcoming events which I will definitely be booking on to. Thankyou

We had our daughter’s 4th birthday party here and it was brilliant! Meeple Village were great to deal with and really organised. They helped run the party on the day and there was so much so keep everyone entertained (role play, lunch, disco, piñata!) Thank you!

Didn't have food, hence the score. But this place is amazing my 1 year old didn't want yo leave. Served lovely coffee. Have such a range of board games, too. Definitely recommend it.

Wow I’m so impressed by this place. If you are on holiday with kids in the new forest this is an absolute must and makes a great rainy day activity. The play cafe is wonderful and has loads of really lovely role play areas (ice cream shop, pizza place, puppets, supermarket etc) which kept our toddler entertained for ages. They also have a craft garden (with sides and a roof so still okay in the rain) with thoughtful activities laid out like a train track as well as the option to buy craft kits like paint a mug. Older children can play with the huge amount of board and card games so again, incredible if you are visiting with mixed ages. Food and drinks options were really good and affordable. The guy running it couldn’t be nicer. Car park right behind it with pay and display. I really commend them with how thoughtful everything is in the space ) down to the meeple-infield map of Hythe on the menu. You don’t come across places like this often and it’s absolutely made our stay. We’re going to come back and just enjoy a beer and coffee late afternoon for the rest of the holiday whilst our toddler runs off some energy. Highly recommend!

First visit to meeple village role play today and was very impressed. Booked a 9am slot which was quiet (perfect for me!) This was a craft day, well set up and manageable for kids. My 4 year old and 1 year old absolutely loved it. Coffee and cookie was great and well priced, you can't go to many places these days and get 3x hot drinks and a snack for under £12. Children's snacks were perfect in my opinion, bread stick, hummus and drink for £2. Staff were welcoming, helpful and understanding. All round a good'n

Just the right mix of casual family setting, and practical gaming space. Craft beers are a great variety, and prices are more than reasonable for a local joint. The soft play area is fantastic to keep the little ones busy, whilst the plethora of games on show will give those too large for climbing in something to pass the time. Events are being considered based on customer feedback, which is a great sign that management listen to what customers are saying. If you're looking for a regular haunt for game night, then this is exactly what you're after!

Meeple Village in Hythe is a destination venue with something to appeal to all ages! I took my grandchildren to the role playing village, they both had an amazing time and did not want to go home! The attention to detail and the scope for things to do is tremendous and the staff were very helpful.
