Faultless service. Within 1 hour of phoning for an emergency appointment I had received a triage call had an appointment with Dr Sherwin and picked up the prescription from Boots. 10/10

This is without doubt the best surgery I have ever been to … the receptionists do not ever make me feel like they are prying and that they are just trying to get you the help you need 10/10 for those girls ….As for the G.Ps well they are superb and go out of their way to deal with the problem your having 10/10 for them too many thanks to you all at waterfront and Solent surgery xxx

Same day appointment is a straight forward and easy process so that's worth a few stars. However, getting a normal appointment is near on impossible, constantly ring to be on hold to finally get through and then no appointments and told to ring again another day and to just keep doing this until I get an appointment. However, with being in work it is not always possible to hold for 30-45 mins to get through! The online booking doesn't seem to be active anymore which is a shame as this was quicker and easier. The prescription service here recently has gone down hill massively. I have repeat prescriptions and I am having to call every single month without fail to get an error rectified. On this occasion I have been trying to get a prescription since 24th March, it is now 30th March and for the 4th day in a row had to contact the surgery about getting this sorted! This has happened every month for the last 3 months. Getting a repeat prescription should be a lot simpler than this. There is clearly miscommunication within the team as I am saying the same thing every month but the mistake continues to be made. Hopefully after this month it will finally be rectified 🙏

Amazing surgery. I have always received excellent customer service and care from receptionists and the doctors. Everytime I have called wether it be about me or my children the phone has been answered and we have been given an appointment if that’s what was needed after. After going to the surgery yesterday it’s clear to see the strain all these wonderful people are under and I can only imagine how stressful and exhausting it is for you all at the moment. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone at the surgery and me and my family appreciate you all and think you are amazing.

Awful! Impossible to get a Drs appointment. Everyone understands it’s “unprecedented times” at the moment but all I want is to talk to a DR even if it’s over the phone, I check the NHS app daily for appointments but there is NEVER any, it then says to ring up, which I have also done, there is either no reply after waiting over half an hour or I am told to ring back tomorrow at opening time, then I am still unable to get an appointment. Waterfront and Solent surgery along with the other Drs in the area seem to have a system in place for booking appointments that CLEARLY hasn’t been working for the past few years, this needs to be updated to make it fair for everyone to be able to book with ease and not just whoever phones up at 8am to take ALL the appointments. “ 73% of respondents are satisfied with the general practice appointment times available” - I find this statement very hard to believe when there are never any appointments available.

I’m really happy with the surgery and get the help I need. Sure the phone lines are busy and you won’t always get antibiotics but that’s the same everywhere. I try to respect their time and be concise in an appointment or ask for a telephone appointment. Over the years I have been seen by both nurses and gp’s and they are all really nice people.

Have been trying to call for three days, I am sitting on a phone, the current call is 35 min long. It's lovely they keep telling me how important my call is to them but no-one will pick the phone up. I had to take one of my daughters to the hospital because they wont pick up the phone. I will have to take the other one too now. The email button on their NHS website doesn't work, it just goes to a page that shows an appointment time table. I am sooooo frustrated. What is the point of having a GP, if you have to go to the hospital because you can't reach them. 40 minutes and counting. Apparently my call is still very important to them. None of the surgery email details are available on line. What do you do?

Totally inaccessible if you call they play a 2.5 minute message then hang up I have done this 8 times. I had to call 111 to get a doctor to call me as I need an urgent appointment I have never had a doctor surgery that is impossible to contact. Website contact would not work either.

Rang up to ask to speak to a DOCTOR, called back by a nurse who tells me she is the same as a doctor!! Told me if I had severe chest pain to ring the surgery or 111 and threatened me NOT to ring 999. I've NEVER rang 999 in my life so it's not that I'm always ringing it, but a nurse called Adolf , sorry katherine tells me I cannot call 999 for severe chest pain, thanks Adolf.just had a call from simple Simon (sherwin) to remove me from the practice because of the factually correct review. Simple, unethical Simon is the only way to describe this so called doctor, who will leave a seriously I'll patient without a doctor in the middle of the worlds biggest pandemic Thanks simple Simon
